Team Projects
The team project allows participants the opportunity to apply theories, principles, and techniques within the CPM curriculum to a situation, problem, concern, or opportunity in a public organization. The team project is an outstanding opportunity to engage in workplace efficiency ideas, work-related problem solving, research and future planning.
Askew Award
Each year the American Academy of Certified Public Managers presents the George C. Askew Award to acknowledge the group project that best demonstrates integration of CPM principles, utilizes innovative approaches to find a solution, and reveals improvement in quality and cost savings as a result of the project.
